Atelier Guggisberg contributes to the new RTS production center
Atelier Guggisberg contributes to the new RTS production center in Ecublens by ensuring the manufacture of the curtains.
The future RTS production center, known as the RTS Campus, aims to modernize and consolidate media activities. Located near EPFL and UNIL, it will bring together radio, television, and digital production. OFFICE Kersten Geers David Van Severen designs the architecture, while Fehlmann Architectes manages the execution.
This modular space of over 5,000 m² promotes collaboration, media integration and adaptation to new modes of audiovisual production.
En effet, le déménagement est motivé par les limites des bâtiments de Lausanne et Meyrin. La nouvelle structure vise à offrir aux géants suisses des médias une flexibilité accrue, une technologie de pointe ainsi que de meilleures conditions de travail adaptées aux besoins modernes.
Rideaux acoustiques et thermiques
Atelier Guggisberg designs acoustic and thermal (sun protection) curtains that combine functionality and aesthetics. High-quality and tailored to the client's specific requirements, these curtains will improve acoustics and light control while adding a decorative touch. The project will utilize 2,700 meters of Swiss fabric Création Baumann, with installations staggered throughout the year.
Thanks to this centralisation, RTS will reduce its surface area by 25%, its operating costs by about 30%, and will have public spaces to host events and collaborations with schools.
Ainsi le centre respectera des normes écologiques strictes, avec des systèmes énergétiques efficaces et des matériaux durables. La construction progresse selon le calendrier, avec une mise en service partielle dès mi-2025 et une ouverture complète en 2026.

L'aboutissement du projet
Le Campus RTS a été inauguré le 13 novembre 2025, après cinq ans de chantier. Les 2 700 mètres de tissu Création Baumann sont en place — rideaux acoustiques et thermiques installés sur l'ensemble des espaces, visibles jusque depuis l'extérieur du bâtiment.
